As a start-up who hopes to turn her passion into a hobby that (eventually) earns, all you really need is some people out there who believe you can do it. I was pleasantly surprised that someone was crazy enough to hire me for their start-up business knowing that I’ve only technically decorated a few spaces. It really was an opportunity to roll up my sleeves and work for a real, non-relative client. Bridal Boutique is a condo-based bridal shop that sells customizable, stylish, and highly affordable wedding dresses for practical, modern brides. My colleague and client Tina Dy-Zamora with her business partner Kristine Ongcuangco had a particular look in mind: an all-white, French-inspired boutique that can accommodate personalized fittings for their lovely brides-to-be.

If you’re a close friend of mine, you’ll know that I’m the last person to ask about weddings (hahaha). Seriously 🙂 So channeling my inner bride persona and fluffing the girliness in me was fun and challenging at the same time. It wasn’t an easy walk down the decorating aisle. But just like marriage that’s more important than the wedding party, it takes a lot of hard work, commitment, and faith to pull it off. I was very fortunate to have my boyfriend Marty’s support in this entire process. I could not have done it without him! Here’s the result of my work for Bridal Boutique.
